The sweet and charming Jaylynn Metal Daybed by Hillsdale features a bright white finish that gives it the versatility to match many decors. An arched high-profile back and gently sloped arms combine to create a clean and simple look. Not only is the Jaylynn a graceful focal point it's also incredibly durable. It features fully welded construction with foundry-poured aluminum castings. Complete with heavy-gauge tubing and solid bar wire. A daybed support system is included. The underbed clearance is 14-16 inches.*Note: Trundle and mattress are both optional and not included with basic set. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin size daybed into a king size bed.

Optional mattress is the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress. Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
