The Lodge Color Enamel Skillet in Island Spice features a graduated red enamel finish that adds spice to your kitchen and gets the family in the mood for great food. This perfect skillet combines the superior cooking performance of cast iron with the beauty and convenience of enamel to create a skillet that will be the heart and soul of your kitchen. A long handle on one side and a short handle on the other makes the pan easy to shift and carry. Take it straight from the stove to the table; the beautiful red will make a lovely yet charmingly functional centerpiece and the cast iron construction will keep food warm throughout the meal. The interior of the pan is black matte enamel with the look of bare cast iron but the convenience of enamel coating. An enamel coating eliminates the need to season the metal and allows for more thorough cleaning and adds this zesty red color to your new favorite pan. Cast iron has excellent heat retention and diffusion properties meaning cast iron vessels maintain heat and cook food thoroughly and evenly for perfect results every time.
