The Momeni Versa VS-25 Black Rug has an intricate all-over floral pattern in traditional Oriental style; the rich black shades are perfect for modern decors too. It's durable too - constructed by Chinese artisans especially for Momeni this rug is hand-tufted in exacting detail. Hand-tufting is done using a tufting gun which punches strands of wool through a framed canvas. The rug's pattern is drawn onto the canvas and the artisan works carefully to fill in the pattern using the appropriate colors of wool. When tufting is completed the rug is removed from the frame and a backing is glued in place.
