The innovative prop plane the AOV1 Mohawk was a leader in technology. Produced for 10 years this plane provided photo reconnaissance and infrared surveillance during the Vietnam War. This beautiful model of the Mohawk is an exemplary sample of the workmanship of our master hand-carvers. Carved from kiln-dried mahogany and finely sanded the model is then painted by hand for the finest caliber of representation from this vintage period. Included is a handsome wooden stand with an aluminum goose neck that holds your plane securely but also allows removal of the model aircraft.
