Hand-carved in the Black Forest region of Germany the distinctive timepiece depicts a quaint forest cottage complete with deep avian and roof carvings. The time is displayed by easy-to-read wooden hands and dial. Precision timing mechanics keep the happy cuckoo bird on schedule every hour. Two decorative pinecone counter weights wind and maintain the German Regula eight day movement. The nighttime silence feature is conveniently located on the side or bottom of the housing. The assembly measures 13.80H x 12.60W x 8.30D inches.
