The Toastess TJK28 Kettle - Cordless Electric is a jug kettle that boils water even faster than your microwave oven. It starts the boiling process with one touch of a switch and can boil up to 1.8 liters or as little as just two cups. This unit shuts itself off automatically when the water boils or if the kettle is dry to prevent dry-boiling which can damage the interior. A concealed stainless steel heating element resists corrosion and scale build-up. Also features a water-level window stay-cool handle and hinged lid. This kettle requires an electrical outlet and operates on 1500 watts. Does not whistle. Two-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
