The Toastess TJK55 Kettle - 1.7 Liters Cordless Electric has a brushed stainless steel body and is perfect for hot tea or soup anytime. This jug kettle boils water even faster than your microwave oven. It starts the boiling process with one touch of a switch and can boil up to 1.7 liters or as little as just two cups. The round base lets you set it down in any direction allowing everyone at the table to handle it from their seats without having to reach awkwardly. A removable Aquascreen filter ensures clean water and a three-level auto safety shut-off system prevents dry-boiling which can damage the interior. A concealed stainless steel heating element resists corrosion and scale build-up. It has a stay-warm feature which keeps water warm or re-boils water in seconds. This kettle also features an illuminated water-level window stay-cool handle and hinged lid. This kettle requires an electrical outlet and operates on 1500 watts. Does not whistle.
