The WhisperLite II Low Bed has a revolutionary DC motor to provide the best in quiet smooth operation. The motor and comes pre-installed on the foot section for easy set-up and disassembly.. With a low height of only 9.5 inches injuries from falling out of bed are virtually eliminated. A welded motor guard protects the motor and universal joint from damage during shipment delivery and moving of the bed. Bed ends will work with any full electric WhisperLite frame. Included is an Extra Firm Foam Mattress which has a high density foam base to provide a firm supportive foundation and a soft foam top layer to enhance patient comfort. The mattress cover is soft and durable and is bacteria resistant flame retardant fluid resistant anti-fungal anti-static and non-allergenic. This bed has a 350 pound patient weight capacity and there is a limited two year warranty. Bed rails are not included.
