The Woman with Waterwheel 8-Day Musical Cuckoo Clock features an idyllic farmhouse scene with a woman out front and a water wheel churning on the other side. On the second floor of the house children prance through the rooms and frolic on the balcony. Meticulous details abound on this clock from the checkered drapes to the colorful flowers. This cuckoo clock is hand-made in Germany in the traditional style. Carved from Black Forest linden wood this clock features a face with stylized Roman numerals and scrolled hands in gold. It also offers a nighttime shutoff switch. This clock keeps accurate time with the German mechanics inside. It operates on an eight-day cycle which begins when you pull down the decorative pinecones. Every hour on the hour a hand-carved cuckoo makes his musical appearance. Note: Clock alternately plays Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer on the hour and half-hour.
