This aircraft went down in history as the first plane to carry and deploy a nuclear weapon bringing America into the atomic age. Flown by Col. Paul Tibbetts this B-29 released a bomb on Hiroshima code named Little Boy on that fateful day in August 1945 ending the war with Japan.
