Hand-carved in the magnificent Black Forest region of Germany this distinctive timepiece depicts a quaint forest cottage complete with detailed leaf and avian carvings. The time is displayed by easy-to-read hands and dial. Precision timing mechanics keep two happy cuckoo birds on schedule every hour. Lovely music also accompanies the birds. The nighttime silence feature is conveniently located on the side or bottom of the housing. Three decorative pinecone counter weights wind and maintain its traditional movement. The assembly measures 12 inches.
