The C11 CF Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube is the same one that's used on Celestron's GPS-series telescopes. It's crafted of scratch-resistant carbon fiber that provides thermal expansion properties superior to those of aluminum. This helps to maintain the sharp focus needed for stunning CCD imagery.
