Catalog description
Banjo Weather Station with Stick Thermometer, part number AML021, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $159.99.
The Banjo Weather Station with Stick Thermometer is a model that has been around for centuries. The barometer once was a mercury glass tube that ran behind the long shaft giving the barometer its banjo shape. Today the mercury barometer has been replaced with a safer mechanical gauge.
Along the shaft is a stick thermometer that measures in Fahrenheit and Celsius. In the center is a large barometer that measures in inches millimeters and hectopascals/millibars. The lower gauge is a hygrometer that measures humidity in percentages.
The wood frame is stained mahogany and measures 17 inches long and five inches wide at the widest point. The barometer is 3.75 inches in diameter. This barometer is made in Belgium.
