The Convair XF-92 was the first American Delta wing produced and was in development before and during World War II. Used to test supersonic flight this craft was fitted with large triangular wings and was powered with a turbojet engine with afterburners. Only one was created and it helped pave the way for designs of the F-102 fighter.
This replica is crafted from solid mahogany wood and hand painted with a smooth finish. The removable stand makes this a perfect model for your home or office collection.
