YF-23 Advanced Fighter, part number TAMC061, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $138.99.
The YF-23 with its unusual trapezoidal wings was the primary competitor against the YF-22 during flight trials in 1990 and 1991. The YF-22 eventually one the competition going on to become the F-22 and the YF-23's program has since been cancelled. The YF-23 did have some advantages over the F-22 particularly in speed and stealth characteristics but the F-22's greater agility won out in the end. A variant of the YF-23 competed in a 2004 bomber requirement test but the testing was cancelled and the YF-23 awaits a role. The detailed craftsmanship of this model makes it an ideal choice for anyone wanting a representation of the unique YF-23.
