Catalog description

This aircraft was one of the principal fighters of the American forces at the beginning of World War II. It had an unusual design that featured an engine mounted in the middle of the fuselage. The prop was operated via a driveshaft that ran through the pilot's feet. This was to free up space for the forward mounted armament of a single 37 mm T9 cannon that fired through the front of the prop hub.
This unique aircraft is faithfully replicated in our all mahogany hand crafted model. Authentically detailed and complete with a removable stand this replica will be a welcome addition to your aviation collectionOrder this model today online and let us provide prompt delivery to your door.
