Catalog description
PT-19 Cornell Model Airplane, part number PCA105, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $129.99.
The PT-19 Cornell was the USAAC's first venture into single-wing trainers and was equipped to give blind flying lessons. The original PT-19 version had two open cockpits for the student and instructor and was powered by a Ranger L-440 six-cylinder inverted air-cooled inline engine of 175 horsepower. Solid mahogany makes this piece a handsome replica to add to your collection. The piece is beautifully hand painted for an authentic detail. The finish is a product of fine sanding between primer coats that creates a final smooth gloss making this a showcase piece.
