The Universal Bird Bath provides a clean and simplistic design that will fit nicely in any environment. Because of the beauty of its classic lines it will make the most of any section in your yard or garden. This natural stoneware product is handcrafted and decorated; therefore each bath will have a unique color and texture that will not be replicated. The glazed finish will make a statement for years to come while at the same time protecting your bath. This bird bath has a bowl depth of 3 inches; however the ideal bathing depth for birds is 1.5 to 2 inches. You can simply fill the bath with 1.5 to 2 inches of water or you can take the decorative approach and use polished stones or similar items to raise the level water level while keeping the bird safe. The base of the pedestal is roughly 10 inches in diameter providing weight and stability. Please note that the base and pedestal are seperate pieces adhesive is recommended. Made in USA.
