Catalog description
B-29 Enola Gay Nose Art Panel, part number VE005, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $199.98.
The Enola Gay was flown by Col. Paul Tibbetts and went down in history as the bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima with the hope of ending the war with Japan. Though the nose art of this Superfortress was not as elaborate as some it is painstakingly re-created on our panel to be as authentic as possible. Ready to hang this replica is made from aircraft grade aluminum and hand-painted by noted aviation artist Gary Velasco. This piece will be a welcome addition to any aviation collection!
